Prague's wonderful sightseeing, opera, restaurants & nightlife all contribute to Prague's reputation as a "fairy tale city". Take your choir on a choral visit to Prague and discover the beauty of this fascinating city.
Called the City of a Hundred Spires, Prague is famed for its magnificent range of outstanding architecture from Gothic, baroque and Romanesque to the modern Bell-Epoque, Art Noveau and Cubism.
The city has palaces, castles and churches in abundance. Spanning the Vltava River is the 14th Century Charles Bridge, with its busy throng of pedestrians, artists, puppeteers and musicians. Prague's Old Town is a maze of cobbled streets from Charles Bridge to the Old Town Square and includes important sites such as its unique Astronomical Clock, the famous Power Tower and the Gothic Tyn Church. The New Town has the great Wenceslas Square, crowned with the National Museum.
Choirs will perform during a church service and also have the option to perform in a social institution. For those interested in opera or classical music, Prague opera is world famous, boasting the finest opera performances in some of the most stunning opera houses in Europe.
