Situated on the French Riviera, the charming city of Nice is the perfect place to relax and become absorbed in French culture. Explore some of France's most captivating places such as the Matisse Museum, the Flower Markets, the Amphitheatre of Cimiez and the Franciscan Monastery. With a total of 19 museums and galleries, 32 classified historical monuments and many beautiful parks and gardens, Nice is a jewel of a city rich in both French and Italian culture. Discover Nice in depth and wander through the narrow streets of the old town and then stroll along the famous Promenade before entering into the spirit of the 2nd CCI International Singing Festival in Nice.
The festival opens with a welcoming ceremony hosted by the Deputy Mayor of Nice and a performance by "Les Voix de Nice". Choir perform in the Sainte Reparate Cathedral, a baroque jewel located in the old town and enjoy a concert evening with a local Nice choir. The farewell dinner is held in a picturesque Nice restaurant. On the final evening all choirs sing V'amo di core - by W.A. Mozart together in the closing ceremony.
