Suitable for Youth Choirs & Youth Orchestra aged 8-26 years, the
youngprague festival was established in 2003 and is now in its sixth year.
Within a few years the event has become one of the most culturally diverse
and most enjoyable European events for young people aged 8-26 years. All
those who have an active interest in music and choral singing will be
enthralled by youngprague.
We expect to welcome over one thousand young people from all over the world in 2008. This festival and competition gives participants the chance to show their talent and skill. This event also allows time for the participants to enjoy the beauty of the most attractive city in Central Europe.
All who attend will be enriched with new friends from all over the world and are given the opportunity to appreciate cultural exchange and diversity among young people. The city of Prague is magical. It is a city of music, theatre, dance and opera. You and your choir or orchestra can be part of this city's proud musical heritage when you participate in the annual Young Prague Festival.
